James King

A thirty-year veteran in the industry, James has been at Richardson Wealth and its predecessor firms, for 20 years, during the last 10 of which he has been running the Toronto branch. His portfolio now includes oversight of our offices in Ontario to the east coast. James began his career in the Syndication Equity Capital Markets, Correspondent Network but felt drawn to building relationships with retail investors and fittingly became an advisor. Over time, he transitioned from a dual role of running his practice and managing a branch, to solely focusing on managing advisory teams.

A problem solver with a unique ability to align people to a common goal, he is also a sports lover which fuels his competitive spirit. This, combined with his leadership skills and his bilingualism in French and English, makes him a perfect fit for our business and our firm.

An Oakville resident, James is married to Andrea, and they have two daughters, Emily and Jamie.
